The Last Month

Our internet access was down for a few weeks, so here are a whole lot of pictures for you to enjoy. In the last month, we have been to church camp and VBS, but those pictures will be posted later.

Here are some sunflowers that Adam planted in the backyard. He has tried for years to get sunflowers to grow. He and Clark planted and nurtured these and finally had success. I guess Clark is the one with the green thumb. After hearing so much about how the sun and the water help the flowers to grow, Clark now thinks that sun and water will make him and Clementine grow bigger.

Adam (with the help of brother Andy and Bill) finally finished the bathroom remodeling project that officially began the winter of 2006. It looks so fabulous!

Some of Clementine's three month pictures I took at home.

Clementine loves her thumb. It is rare to get a photo of her without it in her mouth or on its way to her mouth. Her socks are by her head because that's where her feet were when I put her to bed. She wiggles and squirms all over the place - especially while she's sleeping.

This is proof for the future that at one time they really did like each other.

Look at these smiles!

The boys in the pool.

This is what happens when you let a two year old get his hands on the bottle of bubble bath. Clark had the biggest (and longest) bubble bath ever last week.

More evidence that he really loves his sister. Don't be misled, though, he was watching the Indians game (specifically - watching Grady Sizemore bat), so the grin could be from that excitement.

Last Thursday, the Metz family made our annual trek to the Ohio State Fair. Clementine slept through most of the hot adventure, but Clark had a great time looking at the animals and of course riding the rides. He has no fear of rides. He was upset because he was too short to ride the roller coasters in Kiddie Land.

Clark enjoying one of our favorite fair foods - roasted corn on the cob dipped in butter. Adam's favorite part of the fair is the food. Like father, like son.

Just chillin' in my sweet helicopter ride.

On Monday, we hung out at the beach in central Ohio. Alum Creek State Park has a great public beach at this huge manmade lake. This is our friend Jessica holding Clementine. Her future father-in-law brings his boat out and we all go tubing.
